The Great Out of Drawers & A Giveaway!

Most of us keep our flatware and silverware in a drawer and pull it out when we need it.  I think it has an intrinsic beauty all its own and makes for great 'bouquets' and displays.

Here is a set of antique silver straw spoons in a shell motif' that I've displayed on my buffet atop a vintage napkin.

I have a few sets of flatware I use in my tablescapes and everyday use.  I keep some of my flatware displayed in vintage English transferware pitchers in the kitchen, above the planning desk where there are little built ins for letters, and organization.

Gold handled demitasse spoons are stored in this miniature Charlotte patterned pitcher

This little Spode Byron creamer holds some demi cocktail forks, spoons and spreaders all with a teapot handle.

A silver plated loose tea scoop, tea strainer and tiny pastry server are stored in an open sugar bowl.  I've gotten a lot of adorable demitasse spoons and silverplated tea accessories from Home and Teatime Elegance, an online shop featuring a great selection of teas and tea time accessories.

In the dining room I store my gorgeous hand beaded serving set in a red transfer ware octagonal tea caddy.

These unique pieces are hand wired and beaded by Joy at Weaves Beads.  Joy has offered a $30 gift certificate to her shop where various serving sets and beaded earrings are for sale, which she makes.

I'll have to take out some pretty little antique cocktail forks with colorful stones on the top - they are very pretty and would look great in a little pitcher like your suggestion. I seem to collect lots of pitchers for some reason, they are so cute! I have to say that if I won I'd choose those beautiful red beaded pieces, so different! Ciao, bella!
