A few days ago I mentioned that I'd show you all some transferware rabbits. These are so adorable. They're made by Royal Crownford. To my knowledge they only come in blue, brown, green and red. I'd love to find a purple one.
First, is this chubby little Green bunny.
The plate in the background is by Copeland/Spode...also perfect for Easter or Spring decor!
More transferware for Easter is the little egg shaped trinket box, by Masons. It will be in my Etsy shop later today.
Here is little brown bunny who resides in my guest bathroom along with some vintage linens and perfume bottles:
and Miss Blue Bunny...she was sold to pay for...
...little Red Rabbit. Red Rabbit lives with us to, in my kitchen.
I recently found this bunny and was so glad to add him to my collection of red transferware. I hadn't seen one in this color before so I snatched it up as soon as I could. There is one listed on Ebay right now for $75! I have the green one in my shop for $45.
I filled an antique red transferware wash basin with reindeer moss balls (I use these for the topiaries I make and sell in my shop) and placed a jasmine topiary in the center with the bunny inside and some vintage crochet Easter eggs. I think it turned out pretty cute...not your everyday Easter arrangement being red and forest green but it works with my kitchen decor.
I hope you all enjoyed the bunny tour!

What adorable bunnies, Nancy. I've never seen any of thee. I think the green is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteSpent the day at Round Top shopping the antique shows. Such fun! Lots of beautiful transfer ware to be found. Last year I found 3 brown Tonquin napkin rings. Couldn't believe it when I stumbled upon one more today. Yea! Now I at least have 4.
Happy Easter to you.......Sarah
I have never seen transferware bunnies before. These are just precious.

Nancy, these are darling. And, I agree your arrangement is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to use my yellow transferware plates for our Easter dinner table. I'll be certain to share pictures.
The bunnies are darling, Nancy! And I do love that egg. Did Mason make it in other colors? The moss arrangement in your wash basin is so pretty. I had mini daffodils growing in my antique wash basin a few weeks ago. Very cheering! I hope you have a lovely Easter holiday.
ReplyDeleteNancy, what gorgeous bunnies! My fav of course is the red! He looks fabulous among the greenery with the crocheted eggs. Happy Easter to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Bunnies are so cute no matter what...but the transferware ones are especially beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour bunnies are so cute...never seen a transferware one before!
ReplyDeleteAaawwwww...their chubby little heads are so cute! I like them all, but the little brown one just seems so demure and innocent. Maybe because his coloring is more subdued. They're all just as cute as can be! Have a very Happy Easter, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness they're so adorable these transferware bunnies! I love the brown one, it stole my heart...so please just wrap it up and send it tome!! hehehee..
