Breathe in a Carefree Day

Today begins my work week and honestly all I want to do, or feel like doing, is curl up in bed with a good book and have my breakfast there.
Do you have these days every once in a while too?

I'm currently reading David Baldacci's book, The Christmas Train, and I'd  love to slip under the covers and pick up where I left off...
Surrounded by pretty things,

while sipping a hot cup of tea,

and nibbling on toast with homemade rasberry jam,
with a single, yet simple, concern....
Breathe in a carefree day.

Brown & blue transferware pieces are all available in my online shop, English Transferware HERE
The custom blue toile pillows and brown and blue custom napkins are available at Floradora, HERE

  18. What a pretty room and your pictures are wonderful. They go well with your writing and evoke such a peaceful mood that I am tempted to curl up with some tea and a book, too! I firmly believe that we all need those days of rest here and there. If you can, go with it. You certainly have a cozy spot to settle in! If you have time, I would love for you to link this post to my blog party at http://firstadream.blogspot.com/

  19. Absolutely gorgeous! I think I would curl up next to the bed rather than on it so I could keep it looking so nice and pretty! :-) The combo of the blue with the brown is just the inspiration I was looking for as I am getting ready to start a little project on my walls. Thanks so much for linking this to the party this week!
