Drapery Tie Backs Make Great Towel Holders

Needing towel holders for our guest bathroom, I opted to use what I had on hand and that turned out to be a pair of drapery tie backs.

The drapery tiebacks extend out about 4" making it just the right size to drape a hand towel over!

Shawn put one on each side of the mirror for me!

Today is Jonahs 18th birthday!  I now have three kids of the legal age!  Hard to believe.  Each year our kids choose what they want for their birthday dinner and Jonah chooses corn chowder every single time.  You can get the recipe HERE.

Happy Birthday Jojo!

Great idea, I have a couple of those floating around here, they need to be on a wall. Love this idea.

  3. And, toilet paper holders the kind that are "U" shaped are great drapery tie backs. I bought 2, used one for the necessary item and the other holds the ceiling to floor drapery treatment I made for the guest bathback at just the right angle. My husband thought I was nuts until he saw how great it worked and how inexpensive it was : ) Love when it works out!

  6. Very creative! Wishing Jonah a very Happy Birthday too! He's a cutie. It all happens so fast doesn't it? My grandson was 16 last Monday and today he got his driver's license. I'm so happy for him but wow, it's almost too much at times.

  10. What a great idea! The towel holder in our half bath is too high for my youngest so we just hang the towel from our levor bathroom door handle. This would be perfect!
