Novica has contacted me once again and asked if I'd like to give someone $50 to spend on their site. Well, of course I would love to give someone a $50 gift certificate, and hey, it might as well be you!
In case you haven't heard of Novica, Novica is associated with National Geographic and provides artists and artisans around the world a global platform to express their talents and spur creativity. The site is full of hard to find, unique items that only the Internet infrastructure can allow access to.
Novica carries all sorts of home decor and furnishings along with a great selection of clothing and accessories for men and women.
Kalyn and Ashton have had their eyes on the Silver Charm Bracelets like this one with little rosebuds.
Although I love their jewelry, I usually shop Novica for housewares because I love stuff for my house even more!
We used to have a hammock in our backyard near our koi pond where some of our best family memories were made back there, with the kids swinging and lounging in a hammock that hung between two oak trees.
I no longer have the hammock, or the yard, but I still want a hammock somewhere and this is the one I want, from Brazil and sold Novica, of course.
Isn't the crochet fringe gorgeous? I could leisurely spend some time here on this hammock or any of the over 100 they have on their site right now.
Though this is a magazine rack, I think I'd use it as a centerpiece filled with an arrangement of Fall flowers and foliage. Novica has a great selection of these magazine racks and it was hard to choose my favorite.
I am thinking that this Forest Flower wood hanger would be perfect for displaying an antique lace table runner or a favorite linen of sorts.
There are so many choices! What would you choose with $50 to spend at Novica?
For a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Novica, please leave a comment letting me know what you'd choose.
For two additional entries leave me a comment on this post if you are a blog follower and another comment here or on my FB page if you are a Facebook fan. You can find me on Facebook as English Transferware.
The giveaway will run for one week. The winner will be randomly generated via random.org based on the number of comments from both this blog post and my FB post. Please leave your email address or make sure that I can contact you if you are the winner!
Good luck!
Luv your blog. I am have an addiction to dishes :-) I have 2 sets of brown transferware Cotsword Stroke on Trent and Heritage Hall.

Or I'd be thrilled to own one of their silk as it would be fun to wear and or to accessorize my transferware with it. What a treasure either would be! Thank you for sharing! D. Winter

I adore Novica! So much that there are currently almost 400 items on my Novica Wish List! So far, I have mostly purchased jewelry and handbags - but I also have dozens of statues, sculptures and decorative items among my favorites that I would love to have (or be able to afford to buy.)
ReplyDeleteAmong my most favorite favorites are the wood statues by John Barrows of Peru - especially his CATS - like "Cat Mischief," "Cat Pose." and "Playtime Kitty" and/or the marvelous statuettes by Ning Charoensri (of Thailand) - especially her HANDS - right now her wood statuette "Invitation" tops my Novica Wish List!
Thanks for this most generous and thoughtful giveaway!
