Hello all, Hope you've all had a great day. It' been beautiful here in Tulsa. Shawn made homemade pancakes and homemade syrup for breakfast and later we all did some much needed yard work.
I've done a few posts about decorating my Master Bathroom ( Part 1 Block Glass Window, Part 2 Dressing Mirror/Vanity, Part 3 Small seating area) and thought I'd share just a little bit more that I did not show previously.
I have a little corner next to the shower stall. (remember, I did not major remodeling and stuck with the paper that was here...would not have chosen this but it is pretty neutral)
I added a dress form
I put a pretty robe/gown I took with me to the hospital when I had one of our babies
then draped a pretty purple and gold shawl around the shoulders
Next I put some jewelry on...the pearl piece is an antique hairband (at least I think that's what it is!) that I inherited from my Grandma. The other pieces are all lavender/purple. My Mom gave me the prayer box necklace, and made the heart pendant below it, which she painted.
I chose three polychrome transferware plates in purple, green and brown, each with embossed borders and graduating in size to hang in one corner:
and a small wall vase filled with roses on the opposite side.
I hung a shower curtain across the shower door. I used some pretty amber flecked shower curtain hooks and some left over fringe from me bedroom drapes to create a little valance, if you will.
And here is how it looks now:
Here are some pictures of the other areas of the MB
